The video felt a little dragged out and I found it really difficult to maintain focus on what he was saying and had to watch it multiple times to follow his train of thought. I also felt uneasiness with the choice of stock footage used in the video.
The video delivered value although it caused some uneasiness, shift of focus and flow interuption to a clearly noticeable degree.

The social network can have returning visitors if it serves content that the users are interested in.
Let's say I have 10 users who visit the site because we are like-minded and they like the things I like or I put out, so they like the current site.
From these 10 users I would get influenced and serve content to match their interests as well as mine.
As a result the service would update to retain users and also cater to new users drawn from the updated interests.

The video delivered value and I was satisfied with the content. The length could have been reduced by 20% to make it more concise and save some time.
There is a delay in the authentication system for site visitors because mainly there may be a change in the db schema as development proceeds and users cannot be expected to tolerate repeated sign ups or prompts for additional information generally and may find it to be annoying. Better to be safe than sorry... This is the number one priority at the moment so that visitors can be identified and served better. Until then please continue supporting me.
Also these posts are quite important: long term; IMO to have a regular flow of traffic coming from google search based on the content, topic and keywords targeted in the posts.
The content has to be linked to a slug and not change over time, so probably the home page could just show the latest post but all the posts need to reside on their own links for proper search engine optimization.

As a hobby project in data science and web apps, I am working on a social network system for a small subset of all the users currently on the internet. This network focuses on serving fresh and real content with organic growth from the start.
It promotes human content over all other content and enforces strict community guidelines to be followed.

The main goal of this network is to avoid junk content and non-human users and to compensate high quality content creators fairly.
The network is currently in its early stages (nothing yet....) and I am looking for a designer and some early adopter users to help me shape the product.
This is not a competitor to existing networks but a small scale product trying to take a bite from the global social network pie.
